These are the Terms & Conditions for using LoveHomeStyle.co.uk. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

This page is one of three together: these terms, our Privacy Policy (what data we collect and what we do with it), and our Cookie Policy (what cookies we set and how to control them). Together they describe everything we do that affects you.

1. Who runs this site

LoveHomeStyle.co.uk is a UK price-comparison website for furniture, homeware and related products. We list products from third-party retailers so you can compare prices and offers in one place, then click through to the retailer to buy.

The site is free to use and provided for your own personal, non-commercial use.

2. We are not the seller

LoveHomeStyle.co.uk is not a shop. We do not sell any of the products listed on this site. When you click through to a retailer and buy something, your contract of sale is with that retailer - not with us. We are not a party to that contract and we assume no responsibility for anything that happens under it, including delivery, refunds, returns, faulty goods or customer service. Each retailer has its own terms, privacy policy, returns policy and cancellation rights - please read them before you buy.

3. Prices, availability and product information

Prices, stock levels, images, descriptions and other product information are pulled automatically from retailer feeds and are refreshed regularly. They can change between the moment we pull the data and the moment you click through. The price shown on the retailer's own website at checkout is always the price you pay.

We do our best to present accurate information, but the data is provided by third parties and we can't guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. If you spot a significant discrepancy, please let us know and we'll look into it.

4. How we make money - affiliate disclosure

We earn a commission from retailers when you click through from our site and go on to buy something. This doesn't cost you anything extra - the retailer pays us out of their own margin, and the price you pay at the retailer is the same whether you click through from us or go direct.

Our decision to include a product or retailer is never based on how much commission we receive. We also don't sell paid-for placement, sponsored rankings or advertorial. See How We Make Money for the longer explanation.

This disclosure is made under the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCC) and Advertising Standards Authority guidance on affiliate marketing.

5. Newsletter and price alerts

If you sign up for our newsletter or set up a price-alert email:

  • You're confirming you want to receive emails from us at the address you give us.
  • We'll send a confirmation email - your subscription is only active once you click the link in it. (This is "double opt-in"; required by UK GDPR for email marketing.)
  • Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click stops further emails.
  • You can unsubscribe at any time without giving a reason.
  • We do not share or sell email addresses to anyone. See our Privacy Policy for the full data picture.

6. Intellectual property

The design, code, layout, logos, graphics and editorial content of LoveHomeStyle.co.uk belong to us or our licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright law. Product names, images, descriptions and logos belong to the respective retailers, brands or rights holders and are shown under affiliate licence.

You may view, browse and share links to pages on LoveHomeStyle.co.uk for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, reproduce, systematically extract or resell any part of the site, including product data, without our prior written permission.

7. What you must not do

When using LoveHomeStyle.co.uk you agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the site, other than well-behaved search engine crawlers following robots.txt;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site or any servers or networks connected to it;
  • Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its admin area, or its data;
  • Use the site to harvest emails or contact details of other users (we don't display these, but we mention it for the avoidance of doubt).

8. Site availability

We try to keep LoveHomeStyle.co.uk available at all times but we can't guarantee the site will always be accessible, uninterrupted or free from errors, bugs or viruses. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the site at any time without notice.

9. Links to other websites

LoveHomeStyle.co.uk contains links to third-party websites, most often retailer product pages. We do not control those sites, we're not responsible for their content, practices or accuracy, and a link from us is not an endorsement. You use third-party sites at your own risk and under their own terms.

10. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • any other liability that can't be limited or excluded under UK law - including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected by these terms.

Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable to you for any loss or damage arising out of your use of LoveHomeStyle.co.uk, including any purchase you make from a retailer you found via this site. In particular, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from inaccurate or out-of-date price, stock or product information.

11. Complaints and disputes

If you've got a complaint or dispute about the site, please email info@lovehomestyle.co.uk first and give us a chance to resolve it. Most things get sorted within a few working days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can:

  • Complain to Citizens Advice, who can refer matters on to UK Trading Standards.
  • For data-protection concerns specifically, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
  • Take legal action through the courts of England and Wales (see section 13).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time - for example, when the law changes or the way the site works changes. The most current version is always the one on this page; the "Last updated" date at the top tracks any change. If you keep using the site after we post a change, you're taken to have accepted the new terms. Material changes affecting subscribed users will be flagged in the next email we send.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
