Is LoveHomeStyle a shop?
No. We are a comparison site. We pull live product data from UK furniture and homeware retailers, then show it in one searchable place. When you click through to buy, you complete the purchase on the retailer's own site. We never hold stock, take payment, or process orders.
Is it free to use?
Yes, the site is free for shoppers. There is no fee, no membership, no paywall, and no upsell. You pay the same price you would pay going to the retailer directly.
How do you make money?
Retailers pay us a small commission when you click through from LoveHomeStyle and buy something. The commission is paid by the retailer, not by you, and the price at checkout is the same either way. The full breakdown is on our how we make money page.
Are you independent?
Yes. No retailer pays us for higher placement, and no retailer pays for inclusion. Products are ranked by price, popularity or relevance to your search, not by which retailer pays the highest commission. Where editorial choices are involved (featured stores, blog recommendations) we name the retailer and the rationale.
How often is the product data updated?
Prices, stock levels and product details are refreshed nightly from retailer feeds. The "Visit Store" page on the retailer's own site is always the live source of truth at checkout, but the data shown on LoveHomeStyle is rarely more than 24 hours old.
How are products ranked by default?
The default sort on category pages is a relevance ranking that combines popularity, recency and listing quality. You can switch to price low-to-high, price high-to-low, percentage saving, or newest-first using the sort dropdown above any product grid.
What if a price on the site is wrong?
Price feeds occasionally lag the retailer's own site, so a price can change between us pulling the data and you clicking through. The price shown at checkout on the retailer's site is the price you pay. If you spot a noticeable mismatch, please let us know and we will refresh the affected feed.
Which retailers do you list, and how are they chosen?
We work with around 37 UK retailers via affiliate networks (Awin and Amazon Associates being the main ones). New retailers go through a basic editorial check: established UK trading address, real customer reviews, sensible delivery and returns policy. The full stores list is public and updated as retailers join or leave.
Why is retailer X not on your site?
Most likely they are not part of an affiliate network we work with, or their product feed is not currently in a usable shape. If you would like to see a specific retailer added, send the name to info@lovehomestyle.co.uk and we will look into it.
What should I do if I have an order, delivery or returns problem?
Because the purchase is between you and the retailer, all order issues need to go to the retailer directly. They handle payment, delivery, returns and any aftercare. If you cannot remember which retailer you bought from, check your inbox (including spam) for the order confirmation, or your bank statement for the retailer name. The returns and refunds page covers the basics.
Do you share my data with retailers?
Only what is needed to redirect your click. When you click "Visit Store" we pass a referral identifier so the retailer can credit the commission, but we do not pass your email, name or anything you have entered into our optional features. The full detail is in the cookie policy and privacy policy.
Is it safe to click through and buy?
Yes, with the same caveats that apply anywhere online. We list established UK retailers, all of whom take payment via standard secure payment processors. Your card details never touch LoveHomeStyle. As always, check the retailer's name on the receipt and on your bank statement matches who you thought you bought from, and use a payment method (credit card, PayPal) that gives you a refund route if something goes wrong.
How do I contact LoveHomeStyle?
Email info@lovehomestyle.co.uk for anything: feedback, retailer suggestions, media enquiries, partnership requests, the occasional bug. We aim to reply within two business days. Postal address and full contact details are on the contact page.
What does the "Visit Store" link actually do?
It sends you to the retailer's own product page, with a referral identifier attached so the retailer can credit us with the click. It does not change the price you pay, the delivery address, or anything else about the purchase. You can verify by hovering the link and reading the destination URL: it always ends at the retailer's own domain.
