Mattress choice is the catch: stockists carry the size but it's never the busiest line, so pre-Christmas and end-of-summer drops are when the best memory-foam and pocket-sprung options actually appear at sensible prices. Frame-wise, divan with two drawers is the most space-efficient build; a solid headboard adds 8-10cm to the room footprint that an open-back ottoman doesn't.
