Growing vegetables and salads in raised beds has numerous benefits: the raised beds can be filled with the soil of your choice - ideal if you live in acidic soil areas, and the soil will warm up faster than the soil in the ground, helping to promote germination. Our raised bed is made from natural Fir wood so is strong as well as reasonably light in weight. Measuring a generous 122cm by 18cm deep, it is easily screwed together (fixings are included) and solid once constructed. The wood has been treated with a clear preservative. The matching grow tunnel offers the perfect protection for your raised bed crops. A tubular steel frame slots together using a series of plastic connectors and the reinforced polyethylene cover fits snugly over the top. 4 metal pegs are included which can be pushed through the metal eyelets and into the soil, securing the grow tunnel to the ground. No tools are required for construction. The cover is secured to the frame
