Birlea is one of the UK's larger furniture brands, based in Long Eaton (the Midlands furniture-making hub) and supplying bedroom, living-room and dining ranges to most of the major British retailers. Founded in 1959, the brand is family-owned and still British-manufactured on most of its named ranges.

The catalogue is broadest in the bedroom category. Ottoman storage beds, upholstered bedsteads, fabric and faux-leather bedframes in matched ranges (the Hannover, Berlin, Brookline, Hampton). Bedroom storage including chests of drawers, bedside tables and wardrobes designed to coordinate with the bed ranges.
