Coming into flower in March, a little earlier than other Daphnes, this stunning shrub boasts the most incredible scent. The fragrance is sweetly spicy and comes from flowers that are up to four times larger than any other Daphne. Borne in clusters along the entire length of the stems, they begin as purple buds before opening to beautiful pale pink that gradually fades to white. 'Perfume Princess' is the perfect size for growing in containers as well as in borders and if you position it near to doors or beneath windows its scent will drift through your home. Evergreen, with long, slender leaves, it looks good all year round and will be happy growing in sun are partial shade.
