The well-loved and well known Gladioli is a fantastic choice for all gardens, providing colour, height and texture to your beloved outdoor space. ‘Midnight Mix’ is a truly mesmerising mix providing a mystical mix of purples, lilacs and creamy white blooms that will perform around tall green shard like stems! This wonderful gladioli will provide displays of beauty from August through to the end of September, where you can continue to enjoy the displays in cut flower arrangements! Plant gladioli in groups at 14-day intervals to extend their flowering season, and enjoy their fabulous blooms all summer long. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 15cm (6"). In autumn, allow the foliage to die back naturally before lifting the corms and cleaning them of soil and any remaining stems. Dry them in a well ventilated position for 2 weeks before storing them in a frost-free location for the winter. When growing gladioli in mild areas with particularly well drained soil, it may not be necessary to lift the corms. Apply a dry mulch of bark chips or leaf mould in autumn to protect the corms from cold, wet weather.
