In the early 18th century, Chinese prints and paintings were used increasingly within British country homes. Today, the National Trust looks after the largest collection of historic Chinese wallpapers on permanent public display in the world. Created in the softest Duck-egg Blue for this bedding design, the set is made from 180 thread count cotton percale and features the leaf and bird trail on the front with a delicate stylised leaf design on the reverse.
