This Anglo Aquatics Caltha Palustris Alba is a Marginal plant that comes with white flowers and is ideal for placing in shallow edges or on shallow planting shelves. Marginal plants are perfect for the borders of your pond where the water is most shallow, or perhaps on a planting shelf. They are able to tolerate waterlogged soil but should be planted no deeper than four inches below the water level. These hardy aquatic plants can be grown outside of the water also, as long as their soil is kept consistently moist. Benefits: A little less prolific flowering than caltha palustris, but once mature it always has a second flowering later in the year. Place in a pond no deeper than 1/3 maximum recommended planting depth to allow the plants to establish. 1 litre marginal plants do not require repotting; there is no need to remove the mesh basket. Place in pond no deeper than 1/2 maximum recommended planting depth to allow the plants to establish. 3 litre and 5 litre plants do not require repotting; there is no need to remove the mesh basket.
