The film is heat resistant to 70C so OK for hot cups and plates, but not hot pans, always use worktop savers to protect the vinyl and keep at least 12 inches away from naked flames - not to be used as a splashback behind hobs. Use sealant around sinks and hobs to make it water tight, a hairdryer can be used on curved edges to make the vinyl more pliable, careful not to stretch it.
