This Anglo Aquatics Nymphaea Almost Black is a Water Lily plant that comes with plum flowers and is ideal for placing at the bottom of your pond or deep set planting shelves. This well established and extra large plant is suitable for a thirty litre pot and has been carefully nutured to a mature size. Waterlilies will sit at the bottom of your pond and their leaves will grow towards the surface providing you with an attractive display. They can also be placed on planting shelves in deeper ponds. Make sure to place them in a sunny location away from water features and with plenty of space for their roots. Benefits: Floating gracefully on the surface of the pond in summer, the flowers of this outstanding water lily are an intense, plum colour. The emerging foliage has a striking bronze flush, turning green as it matures. This is one of the darkest of red water lilies. Repotting or Replanting: 1 litre lilies require potting into a 3 litre or larger mesh basket. All other size lilies do not need repotting but benefit from being potted up. 30 litre lilies do not need repotting for in excess of 10 - 15 years. There is no need to remove the mesh basket.
