As a result, its a top choice for winter camping, as well as colder nights throughout the year. However, we advise against using the Alpine if the temperature plummets towards -10C. Weve filled the Alpine with two layers of hollowfibre filling (2 x 200gsm) for superior warmth and comfort. In addition, each layer is quilted at different intervals, offsetting the stitching. As well as reducing heat loss, this forms a stronger barrier to prevent cold air seeping through.
