Notes. - Do not touch the cast surface with any sharp or metal objects when cooking.. - In the initial stage of use, try to cook the ingredients that contain fat, and try not to cook ingredients with a lot of starch.. - Always protect your hands with oven mitts or holders, as cast iron pans can become extremely hot during use.. - Despite efforts for accuracy, there may be some reasonable error due to manual measurement.. - Actual product colours may vary due to monitor settings & lightings.. Care & Seasoning Instructions. 1. Washing. - Before first use, rinse the pan thoroughly with warm water and a soft brush to remove any protective oil or manufacturing residue, then dry completely.. - Dry the pan immediately after cleaning to help prevent rust.. 2. Seasoning. - Place the pan on low heat to ensure it is completely dry.. - Apply a very thin layer of cooking oil to the entire surface. Wipe away any excess oil with a paper towel.. - Heat the pan over low heat until the oil begins to smoke lightly. Turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool naturally.. - For improved non-stick performance, repeat the oiling and heating process two or three times.. - After cleaning, place the pan over low heat until fully dry. Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil before storage to help maintain the seasoning.. - This seasoning method can also help restore older cast iron cookware and maintain long-term performance.. 3. Daily Maintenance. - When cleaning, use warm water and a soft brush or sponge. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers that may damage the seasoning.. - Never rinse a hot cast iron pan with cold water, as the sudden temperature change may cause it to crack. Let it cool down naturally before cleaning.. - For stubborn food residue, simmer a small amount of water in the pan for 3–5 minutes, then gently scrape clean after cooling.. - Do not soak the pan in water for extended periods to maintain its performance and durability.. - Once cooled, store in a cool, dry place. If storing with a lid, place a paper towel or newspaper between the lid and the pan to allow air circulation.. - If rust appears, remove it with a scouring pad and repeat the seasoning process.
